Recipe of the day

Amaranth Leaves Fritters

Ingredients

Chana dal- 1 cup
Amaranth Leaves- 1 bunch
Onion-1
Garlic- 4 cloves
Ginger- 1/2 inch piece
Green Chillies-5
Salt- 1 tsp
Oil- for deep fry

Process:
Wash Chana dal and soak it in water for 3-4 hours
Add green chillies,ginger,garlic, salt to the soaked chana dal and grind it into a rough paste
No need to add water while grinding
Wash amaranth leaves and chop them finely. Add the choppped leaves to the grinded paste
Add finely chopped onions to this mixture
Make small flat rounds of this mixture on greased hands or plastic bag.
Deep fry these rounds in oil till golden brown..
Serve with ketchup or chutney.
